"12:36 started off as an idea for the Chiller Killer Short Film Competition. The fear of living in a new environment was the main theme to the story. When it wasn't entered in the competition, I decided that it was more of an opportunity to expand the story and make the events more frightening. With the help of friends and family, the story was made longer and applied more challenges and possibilities for the film. The goal was to have the audience experience the 5 nights with Jake with one frightening thing happening after another. Hopefully it will keep audience members on the edge of their seats to the very end.”  - Scott Mena
